Andy Sibbald is a Canadian author and mental health advocate based in Victoria, British Columbia. He is the owner of Lunatic Publishing and has written over 40 books spanning fiction, political satire, and mental health.

Before his writing career, Sibbald spent 20 years working in the addictions and mental health fields, serving in the Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and on Vancouver Island. His work and life in the Canadian Arctic directly inspired his writings. He is an advocate for social justice, mental health awareness, and addiction recovery.
